Supreme work jacket Toshio Saeki Navy
Supreme Work Jacket Toshio Saeki Navy. After the highly anticipated collaboration with The North Face, Supreme announces that week 11 of the Fall / Winter 2020 Summit Series will see a collaboration with the late Japanese artist Toshio Saeki.
From an early age the artist entertained people with his "Kamishibai" (picture postcards) and hand-made illustrations. In honor of Toshio Saeki, Supreme releases a three-piece capsule developed with the artist before his untimely death at the age of 74. Although the Japanese creative was unable to finish his collaboration with Supreme in person, the collection perfectly highlights and celebrates his work. A work jacket, a hoodie and work trousers are covered with a patchwork created by Saeki himself, both colored and black and white.
Notions from pop art to psychedelic appear in the collage of patches adorning each piece, as does the Supreme logo. It looks like the patches have been stitched too, thanks to the raw white edges lining each image. The work jacket is available in black or blue, as are the work pants, while the hooded sweatshirt appears in black, white, green and red.
