Supreme Work Jacket Toshio Saeki Black
Navy Supreme Work Jacket Toshio Saeki Black. After the highly anticipated collaboration with The North Face, Supreme announces that week 11 of the Fall / Winter 2020 Summit Series will see a collaboration with the late Japanese artist Toshio Saeki, aka the "Godfather of Japanese Erotica".
From an early age, the artist entertained people with his "Kamishibai" (illustrated postcards) and hand-made illustrations.
Second colorway in black realized in the Supreme capsule. In honor of Toshio Saeki, Supreme releases a three-piece capsule developed with the Japanese creative before his untimely death at the age of 74. Although the Japanese artist was unfortunately unable to conclude his collaboration with Supreme in person, the collection perfectly highlights and celebrates his iconic work.
A work jacket, a hoodie and work pants are covered in a patchwork created by Saeki himself, both colored and black and white. Notions from pop art to his psychedelic art appear in the collage of patches adorning each piece, as does the Supreme logo. It looks like the patches have been stitched too, thanks to the raw white edges lining each image. The work jacket is available in black or blue, as are the work pants, while the hoodie appears in black, white, green and red.
